I look for games where all the squares are on one side. This week it will be on Denver and the Rams.....both losers outright!

Line movement and key injuries that could affect the game.

Line movement of course. One thing i am going to NOT do this year is lay wood on the road. If ya cant have home doggie in the NFL, better to pass.

Another thing in the NFL is to stay away from those big chalks. Anything over 3 is out of the question for me.

Line Movement??? Does that mean if a fav becomes a bigger fav then the bet is on the fav? If buf opens at -4 and is now -5.5 then the bet is on Buf??? And arent you always getting the worst line by doing that. Or is it the other way around? I dont understand betting by line movement and hope you will take a few minutes to explain it to me. I see a lot of people pay attn to it but I dont understand the reasoning behind it. Please help.

Well i am a dog player in most cases. But the most important number in the NFL is 3. Yes i agree some of those {fav's or chalk's} are going to get the money, no question. The real question in the NFL, which are the LIVE dogs.
Dogs have 2 ways of gettin the cash.
Fav's only 1.

Yes, thanks but what does the direction the line moves from its opening mean. I understand what you mean by the 3 and the favs and dogs but what does the direction of line movement mean? Fish?

public opinion is pretty important to me especially in week one as it determines the line movement.

Totals that seem out of line. Many times they are inflated week 1. People love points and they just don't get it. Bet unders. Bet dogs and you will win.

Early line movement--from Sunday through Friday-- is an indicator that I find helpful. Movement the 48 hours before the game is generally responding to trend action. I like home dogs where the line tightens early in the week.:toast:
