I know that many of us spend countless hours doing our homework on games and watching games several days of week. This time of year, my wife often complains about the number of hours I spend on the computer and watching fb games and for me playoff baseball and feels I don't spend enough time with her or the kids. This year I have gone out of my way to set up 1 evening a week where my wife and I spend time together without sports and now coach my son's baseball team where we spend time together. Does anybody's else's spouse or better half have the same complaints and what do you do to make them happy during fb/bb playoff season?

Never!

She likes watching games as much, if not more than me.

A better question might be

How many RXers HAVE a spouse or better half?

My guess is the percentage of people w/o one would be greater then the percentage of those who complain :lolBIG:

Thats a good point winky.

I think I might be too hypertensive to have a girlfriend during football season. My last girlfriend liked football, and I still managed to piss her off. I just get way too animated. I can't be a joe cool ladies man when they call pass interference and the guy was clearly going for the ball and it puts them in scoring range to screw the spread late in the 4th.

My wife does not like FB season. Go figure, you would think she would appreciate the break from me.

I don't have that problem...my girl is a degenerate Steelers fan.

I thought she'd have a problem with my betting on college football too...but she ended up yelling louder than me at the end of the Memphis/Ole Miss game (had Ole Miss).

I did mention I can't ever let her live it down that she got to meet Jaws last year in Station Square the night before the Peelers/Eagles game right?

Freakin Peeler fans get away with everything. :finger:

She can't no more, we dont live together:sad3: .

But it never was an issue. Maybe it was because I gave her a small cut of my winnings.

I told her if she never complained about my gambling I would someday build her the house of her dreams. Well that's what I did back in 2001 as we built a gorgeous house out in the burbs. I finished the basement last year with a nice bar and 50 inch TV with surround sound and we all enjoy the games as a family together on Sunday's. I've got a pretty cool wife, going on 23 years now.
