Baseball should end labor day weekend . then start the playoffs .

i say this because nobody pays attention to baseball during september anyway.

Never happen, thankfully.

Baseball needs to stay on the 162 game schedule forever and ever.

While I do see your point in a way, we both know the tradition of baseball would never allow for a change like that, the weather in some of these areas also being a factor, baseball starts in the cold and can end in the cold,,,,tradtion!

No sports will ever have the tradition of baseball...

Baseball does take a back seat the next few weeks but , with half the teams playing out the string its not so bad, then it heats up again after the newness of football wears off....

If baseball had its playoffs at the opening of NFL that would be less attractive I think.

WOuld be nice but won't happen due to records. Baseball regular season is too long, postseason is too short. I hate the 5 game first round series. Play 162 games, have a couple bad days or bad breaks and it's down the tubes. Once the Pirates start their annual July nosedive and then the NFL starts, I can hardly even watch MLB. I'll watch some of the playoffs of course but it would be nice if they would shorten the season.

ofcourse it will never happen . i'm just ready for the playoffs now..

i think baseball playoffs on the weekdays during the day and night , nfl sunday during the day and baseball playoffs at night would make for a great september.
