My record for these is 5-4 after 3 straight losses in extra innings so I feel that I could have been at 8-1.

NYM +136 over StL
Seo/Marquis
Seo has been the man as the Mets have won the last 8 games he has started. Marquis for the Birds on the other hand has lost 7 in a row before winning his last 2.

I'm of the opinion that the Mets can rally around Seo as the Cards will be willing to give this one up.

Seo has been great but Friday is an bad day to buck Cards at home. My database only goes back 20 games but for a long time I have been seeing the Cards 18-2 su at home on Friday. GL

The Cardinals are 17-0 when they have fish sandwiches, but 0-17 when they have grilled cheese. I hear today the menu has fish sandwiches and grilled cheese, be back after lunch for a report with the numbers.

Be very Careful on Mets tonight!

Cards are the best team in the MLB .I am from Boston,MA so not a Cards fan but they do play great at home .I think Jason Marquis sucks as a starting pitcher but I know he can swing the bat well. He should be a Pinch Hitter not a Starting pitcher.He only has a 11-13 record do to the run support he gets.They Mets have giving up this season my Opion .Their bats are as slient as a silencer on a 9mm handgun.

I'm just wondering when the Cards are going to start to coast for the playoffs. They are up by 13 games over Houston in the NL Central with 21 games to play.

Marquis is off back to back complete games. He needs another good start or too to secure his spot in the post season rotation. Look for him to stick with his sinker ball and get the ball on the ground.

Quantum, gotta sound off against this mets pick.

It's september & the mets do what they always do best in the clutch...fade.

Mets are a cool 1-7 so far this month. Coulda had more wins in Atlanta, but hey, it's the mets! As a true blue new yorker that's followed the mets over the years, i've seen this over, & over, & over again.

Marquis turned something on & now he's lights out. Considering how ice cold those mets bats are, more of the same should be expected.

True, Seo has picked this team up. The under play sounds good, but those aren't the elite names in pitching on that mound, & those Cards bats can do the hustle.

You gotta go Cards or lay off here. METS SUCK!!!!!!!

Towers/McClung
TB has been one of the hottest teams at home since the Break. They even handled the Yanks 2 out of 3 in NY. McClung has won 5 out of his last 7 starts while Tor has lost Towers' last 3.

Tor beats TB. I knew I should have been careful on these 1st games of series. Look how many dogs are winning...Pitt, Philly, Wash, Clev, Tor.

I think I'll bet the dog on every 1st game of each series.
