Should displaced N.O. Illegal Immigrants get $2000 debit card?

Since our government has about as much intention of paying its tab as Norm Peterson, why not? For that matter, I think everyone living in America, illegally or not, should get a $2000 debit card this week.

Tough call for me. Seeing that no ID papers are required I doubt this will come up.

i saw where they were trying to interview a guy after he just got his, and he wanted no part of the interview or cameras...wonder why?

It's only $2,000 to 320,00 families -- 640 million total. Peanuts to say the least. They should give all of them $2,000 PER MONTH until they are able to move back into the area. Maybe 6 months or so? Total cost would be 3-4 billion, still peanuts.
