Cain/Williams

Lots of people like Cain in the last couple weeks. I see he is pitching for the Giants tonight. Williams hasn't done all that well.

Cain I like. The Giants I don't. I'd hate to see him pitch another gem and watch them bring in that horrid bullpen and give it up one more time.

With the Giants as a fav I'm on the sideline for this one. Good luck though!

I'd love to bet Cain in a strikeout matchup, but CRIS didn't post one for this game. What's up with that CRIS?! (especially since Cain is a "strikeout" pitcher)

Couldn't remember it was you Quantum who touted him. Very nice call. The kid was dominant tonight.

Actually it was me. I touted him right after his first start (which I saw on TV as he lost 2-1). I was very impressed anyways. Quantum was smart enough to take a look for himself and agreed that I was right.

I didn;t back Cain in this start however. Although I love Cain, I couldn't pull the trigger on the Giants myself tonight after the way they dropped the last few games. But no need for the bullpen blowup tonight, Cain does it all himself!

(and like I said above, I wish I could have bet Cain in a strikeout matchup. 8 K's! )

Nice Call. After he gave up leadoff hit in 9th, I thought for sure they'd pull him but they didn't and he got a couple easy 1 pitch popouts including Lee who'd homered off him earlier. Doubt they'd have kept him in if they were still in playoff contention.
