Fishhead said:ps- Case in point, the DOLPHINS are one of my top plays this weekend and knowing that Lem likes the OTHER side will lead me to investigate a tad more on that game. Very very very seldom will Lem be on the same side as John Q. Public, a road favorite of over -4 at that. Surprising to me having followed Lem for a great number of years.
genosays said:Thanks for the info Fishhead, just wondering what you see in Miami as your top play?? Maybe you think Saban has something up his sleeve for opening day?? Can't see the Dolphins hanging with Denver myself. Good luck.
I'm not arguing with your pickon Miami Fish, but some of those trends are meaningless. These are different teams. I mean are you really going to pull the trigger on miami because they have played great against the AFC WEst for awhile. So what different teams. How many of those games as Saban or for that matter Ferrotte been in. Like I said not arguing picking Miami but not for those reasonsFishhead said:Why?
1. Saban first game out of the box
2. Public on Denver
3. Home underdog
4. 15-2 ATS vs AFC West opponent
5. 6-1 ATS vs Denver in this spot
6. Denver 1-12-1 ATS in last 14 games when total is under 40
7. Matt Roth one of my favorite players.
Ricky Williams is suspended for first 4 games, so don't let that figure in to your pickkermit16 said:Lots of variables on this game and those are the games I usually pass on. New coach, Ricky Williams, QB play, Mc Michaels, pathetic last year, lots of losses from last year and then as long as We are reciting stats.. How about the very important stat the Denver has won 10 of it's last 12 opening season games ! Tough to give up this many points on the road so I will probably sit this one out. Of course probably means nothing this far before game time. I will probably have it as my lock of the year by game time !
