KC +154 over Det
Gobble/Maroth
I like this price against a team that has not scored more than 2 runs in any of their last 8 games! I think the reason this price is like this is because of Gobble. However, Gobble pitched well against Texas in his only start this year. Opposing him is Maroth who has been very inconsistent.

I believe that Detroit has given up as evidenced by their lack of run production. I think Gobble can limit their scoring as well as he has a couple years of Major League experience so he is not just a pitcher KC brought up from AAA. KC has also started to get some run production themselves.

I made some good money taking the White Sox against this lackluster Tiger team. This is the best time of the year to make money on teams like this.

I also like the UNDER 9 -105 in this game. I'm thinking KC's bats will not explode like they did yesterday.

sorry don't wanna keep fading you but gotta go off on KC pick too. KC stinks just as bad as detroit. You can't make profits betting against bad teams by betting on bad teams to beat them. KC has thrown in the towl on the season too. You're gonna have some guy named "gobble" pitching for the worst team in baseball backing your bank?

Maroth & crew are mighty pissed they got bitch slapped by a high school team. I'd take Tigers or pass...

Actually since you liked the Mets yesterday, you might like them more today. They have a much better shot against Suppan & it's probably their last chance to get a win in the series.

Good luck! :103631605

I always enjoy your input jdub. You do seem to be bringing up points that I have considered though. For example, I realize KC has had their problems. But that's part of what contributes to the line being like this though.

I have no problem betting on a bad team if the situation is in their favor. The Mets had not played well yet they played up to St Louis yesterday by losing only by 1 run. I still think it was a good bet.

I look forward to your feedback in the future. Thanks.

This is baseball, any one team can win on any given day.

IMO - the value lays with KC as well.....not sure if I will make it a play just yet.

They are still pro's and have some pride I hope so I agree with Jdub on this one, they took a beating yesterday and will want redemption, Gobble is horrible plain and simple and I think I-Rod will have them fired up for this game, plus they have lost 9 in a row, the law of averages is on there side and no matter what they are a better team then KC up and down the order.

Det 3, KC 2.

This is the 5th game out of 6 that I lose either by 1 run or in extra innings. This is getting rather old.

But I'll probably bet another game on Sunday.

I believe alot of people jumped on this. The line was overpriced.

I hate value wagers. They always seem to lose. Vegas probably inflates lines on games they know which side will win trying to get people to wager on a certain side.

thanks quantum. you had a real hot streak going a week ago & are one of the few posters that backs the picks with good insight. You had some great picks with the Giants Schmidt & Lowry last week. I don't wanna be disrespectin your game. I don't put up a lotta picks or track them, mostly cap for recreation not for message board glory.

sorry if you took KC tonight. Mets? My god. If there was one play to do at the beginning of September, it was to fade the mets. I've made 2 wins on it this month, 1 when dontrelle willis beat 'em, & last night, but fading the mets all september would make your betting returns nearly perfect! I like your idea that teams do throw in the towel, i think the mets are a better choice than detroit since the mets bats have far less pop than the detroit line up. Willie Randolph is making bad decision after bad decision & i can't believe that guy is a former Yankee.

good luck Quantum!

Seo had won for me 3 times before, this was the first loss so I can't complain. I may have to fade them as well in September. Thanks for the input.

Good luck to you too!
