I subscribe/receive picks from several services.
I do everything possible to raise my winning percentage. When one starts wagering larger dollars, it is HUGE to find a guy who can pick over 53% ATS to supplement what you are doing.

Back in the "young, dumb and naive" years, I got sucked into the "ATS Consultants" scam. It only cost me a few hundred, but I caught on pretty quick.
The whole approach was so hardcore, it was an obvious scam. If someone was really naive, I can see how they could get cleaned out by these lying dirtbags.

The funny thing is that it may well require more handicapping skills finding a winning tout than finding a winning bet! But once you find them, you are in a great situation.
I keep bringing up John Kelly, since his advice is free on the Stardust line, and he has consistently outperformed every guest on his program on the Stardust line with 1 exception. The Sunday night crew (Ron Frazier, Dave Cokin) has done great on their picks the last few years. Anyone not listening to the archives to get Cokin's 3 Bonus Plays Sunday night doesn't know what he is missing. Dave is over 60% I believe on these the last few years. Don't subscibe and pay $39 to anyone for 1 play. Listen for great free picks like this, and bigger bettors can find a good service and pay $2000 or less for the year.
Smaller bettors can find freebies everywhere. Here at therx.com we have many solid posters, I just don't know enough to recommend them. Back at sharpsportsbetting.com "Lawboy" seemed to always win year after year, and posted for free...........
