Do people REALLY buy into the Sat + Sun morning touts on AM radio?

I was just driving home and was listening to AM Radio with "Rick Cash." He was saying how today he is releasing his NFL GAME OF THE YEAR and since it is his G.O.Y. he is going to be giving it out for FREE to the first 100 callers!!!!! LOL

I mean do people REALLY buy into these guys? Can't believe they do......

Does anyone know whether these radio touts (like Rick Cash) make money with their telemarketing schemes?

whenever i have called these idiots on their " free pick line " , i have always done it from a pay phone...

i wonder how may thousands of times those pay phones have rung because of me using them...

i can see some homeless guy answering it and getting the sales pitch...

Nobody will call them THIS week. Everyone thinks they have it down pat.

From Week 3 to Week 7, the people who are practically tapped out will start calling to get that one play that will get them out of the red.

I called one time a long time ago for the free pick. I spoke to the tout and he tried to sell me a package. I turned him down and then asked for the free pick and he said,

"Who do you think I am, Santa Claus?"

I said,

"No, I think you are a piece of sh*t."

and hung up.

as many of these guys as i have called only 2 (Doc's and Jim Feist) ever gave me what they promised and only Doc's gave me the pick w/o having to give my name/adddress and call me back - they gave it to me and that was it

i have busted these morons so many times in the past and will continue to do so to expose them for the scamdicappers they are

i ALWAYS call from a pay phone so they don't have my number to bother me

i wish someone would either sue them for "Bait and Switch" or even the radio stations that air these shows.

but people DO call these morons because the picks - they are told - are FREE and people are always wanting to get FREE stuff from an "expert"

as has been pointed out - wait until a few weeks down the line when some of the public is already "in the red" and scrambling and chasing and then they hear guys like Joe Wiz say how he was #1 last season hitting 81% OF HIS GAMES - to people dumb enough to believe that. imagine getting picks from soneone who hits 4 of every 5 games and sharing those picks with me! i am losing so how can i pass this up? that is until i sign up with him and get the "dog and pony" show we know will happen

if people can fall for Ponzi Schemes - they can/will fall for this

just think about this: if they didn't get enough revenue brought in from these shows - do you think they would still do them

hopefully Ace-2-3 can chime in here on this one
