CENTRAL CITY, Pennsylvania (AP) -- A soldier home on leave from Iraq was electrocuted after stopping to help a motorist who hit a utility pole, state police said.

Army National Guard Sgt. Dale Martin Hardiman, 39, of Stonycreek Township, came into contact with downed electrical wires as he tried to help the car's driver early Saturday.

"He was being a good Samaritan," said his mother, Virginia Hardiman.

Regardless of the slant a sad story .....

more sadder is the large number of kids coming back sick from all the depleted uranium that is being sucked into their systems while their benefits are cuts

Soldiers are nothing but pawns for Politicians who sit back and use them like pieces on a chess game

Why do you care Doc? You don't pay any tax dollars for their benefits.

If you want to crackdown on tax cheats go after the corporations who evade taxes with all the washout schemes and tax shelters....of course, for those who didn't bother with donations/protection money to thier politician in charge....

Close up all the bleeding arteries and then put bandaids on the little cuts...

(Frankly speaking, the government would just piss it all away like a drunken sailor at a craps table, like they have already...)
