Its like how bad can one be to be the 3rd string QB with the Bears the last 10 years?

The Ravens will be fine with Wright...he's a solid backup, some would argue he is probably better than Boller right now

What do I know though, I feel like a damn idiot , the Ravens have baffled me the past yr and I don't really consider myself a homer or even that big a Ravens fan.

The Ravens were kept out of the endzone for 3 consecutive games in their Super Bowl season, and won the Super Bowl with a backup QB.

This QB situation reminds me of the time...

Bledsoe went down with an injury for the

Pats.

So they had to call upon some guy named

Tom Brady...Tom WHO???!!!

... the rest is history.

So..ya' never know.

Wright is a 7 year vet I believe, who has started in the league. I think he's a slight ugprade from Boller, and it helps he's more mobile as well. The Ravens won't skip a beat.

They will win some games just because of their defense but I doubt they beat any good teams.

Good news

Brian Billick said the Ravens are discussing their options but likely will bring in another veteran quarterback. Kordell Stewart is considered to be the most viable option; the 10-year veteran spent all of last season with the Ravens.

Ravens vs Titans...God help us. :103631605

Ok first things first!!!! I admit my titans suck ass on defense (goodness gracious we suck ass so bad people are gonna start talking about us like some perennial loser like the cardinals or the friggin browns)

But lets go back to Mr Wright!!!1 He is indeed the right man and i will make this prediction here and now...Boller will not start another game as a Ravens Qb unless Wright gets injured again..

If i recall correctly Wright came off the bench as a backup about two years
ago after i think boller was hurt (if he was the Qb back then)
Wright managed to lead this team in about 3 or 4 wins where they scored an average of about 30 points a game (this might be off by may be 3 or 4 points)

With the weapons this team has on offense and defense, they will make huge strides with Boller out of the picture.

This coming from a huge Titans fan who will be at the game this coming Sunday (God willing) praying to all that is holy that some how Wright throws 10 interceptions because we shall need that many to stop this team!!!

Mcnair is going to be on his back a whole lot come sunday. The one thing i realized about the colts vs ravens game this sunday is the ravens were mere inches from Sacking manning more than 10 times!!!
But manning does not take sacks!!!!

He will throw the ball no matter what the situation is. Every time a salivating Raven was about to lay a paw on Manning he would let the ball fly..Only thing is nowadays he only throws the ball in such places where it cant be even touched by some roaming DB!!!

Mcnair is no where near as quick as Manning when it comes to slinging the rock!!! Our offense will have to use a whole lot of hitches and short passes for big gains or invest big time in our running game (and totally exclude Travis Henry from this equation, he should be relegated to running the ball in short yardage situations only and nothing more!!!)

Ok i know we only managed 7 points against the Steelers but i think we should be able to get at least 17 points in this contest being at home with the much hated Ravens who will score at least 25 on us!!!

One stat that stood out for me on Sunday was that Wright has a 6-6 career record as a starter. Not bad. Plus, the fans sure love him, and he ain't afraid to throw the ball into tight spots. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it worked for Favre.

How much worse can he be than their starter?

Boller is with wrong system and team in Baltimore. Him being a PAC 10 QB he is not suited for Baltimores run and short passing system.

I would like see Boller in Arizona with Dennis Green and their WR more capable of a vertical passing game.

Backup albeit new starter Wright played college at SCAR and was groomed in an offense geared to running game. He was been around a few years and seemed to throw a nice ball Sunday night after Boller was injured.
