I hate to seem like I am going to well too often (my last pick here Thursday was the same play-WON) but this is not a good matchup for Redman. At only -113 it seems really enticing.

StLouis RL (-113)

Lets start with this seasons meetings ,13 in all.The Cards have won 10 of them and of those wins, 9 of the 10 have covered the RL.So its a good possibility that if STL wins they cover...so will they win? They are 44-9 after a loss this year..so theres a strong chance the beat the Pirates tonite. Then there is Redman who is already 0-2 this year vs STL having surrendered 11 ER in only 9IP (both games in STL ,8-0 and 11-5).The Pirates road record when he takes the mound: 3-12.Redmans OBA is .305 on the road overall and .385 vs the Cards this year. Not too good.Conversely theres Mulder whos been fantastic, especially at Busch as the Cards have recorded a record of 10-3 in his home starts this year.Mulder has faced tonights opposition as well this year already but has fared just a little better...Cards 3-0, only allowing 4 ERs in 23 IP (Pitt BA vs Mulder this year is like .135) and covering the RL in all three.BP are light years apart as well as the overall lineups.Factor in the Pirates (batting only .245 and avg. 3.5 rpg in Div. games) struggles within thier own division and I see game worth risking. The Cards incidently have thrived in their own division (.266 avg and scoring 5.0 rpg)...I expect more than 5 tonight.

GLTA.
