Astros think so little of the Fish they're sending up starter #4 to face off the D-Train. They sent up the Clemens/Pettitte/Oswalt juggernaut for the Brewers over the weekend, now they gotta send out the guppies against the Fish's big 3. I should say, Big 2, because AJ Burnett is tossing little league lately.
There's a little risk hiding in them stats. Brandon Backe has tossed 8 innings against the Fish & has achieved 1.08 ERA status. Not a lot to go on, but he hasn't been lit up by these Fish bats. Smaller than larger wager.
Marlins & Astros are chasing the same goal. No question about it, this is a PLAYOFF game & a must win for both sides. Willis is the "must win" situation if the Fish have any hopes of October glory. Since D-train is facing Astros #4 starter, i'll take the risk in this spot & put my cash on the train.
