..was listening to a Classic Rock station yesterday

afternoon; the DJ then says he'll take the 4th correct

caller to this Baseball Question.

Who sunk the Boston Red Sox in 1978 with a homerun

in the Divisional Tie- Breaker game?

My wife here's me murmur the answer...so she picks up

the phone & calls up the station.

She hands me the phone,and wouldn't ya' know?...it's

actually ringing.

Before the DJ could introduce himself ...I cut him off n'

say " The answer's Bucky Dent. "

He then goes on to tell me that I've won Dinner for 2 at

East Side Marios.

...just thought I'd share that with ya's.

Yeah, it's been reported that they handed him a corked bat... ESPN did a thing on that game where they had Torres and Dent on and Dent just sort of smiled when that was brought up..he said it was Mickey Rivers' bat or something.
