I had a guy who bet into me, owe me 10 dimes +, I didnt even have an address just a phone number, I called and got ahold of his father (the schmuck lived in a basement apt downstairs) I pretended i was delivering a FedEx pkg and needed his address, so his father gives me the address...
I get the address drive over, and see the guy leaving, followed him to a gas station, it was in the dead of winter i was wearing a long leather coat had my shades on , I looked 'gangster-like" LOL, the guy nearly pissed his pants when he realized i caught up to him....
All I could do was scare him though, he did end up making payments for a coupe yrs but only managed to pay me back about 1/3 til i lost track of him....

Here is how I look at it. Money lent, is money gone. You consider it a bonus if you get it back. Sounds odd, but has some truth behind it.
I lent a buddy over 5 dimes one time, it took him 2 years to pay me back after promise after promise.
Another thing, pick and choose who you lend too, my buddy is a serious gamber he had money for poker, but not to pay me back. Pisses me off to this day, but he burnt a bridge with me.
If she didn't have $400, more than likely she is bad with money management. And if she was any kind of friend, she would call and set up some kind of payment agreement.

You're going to have to be a lot bigger pain in her ass than just a couple of text messages. $400 should be easy to come up with, even if she just gives you $100 a week for 4 weeks. She probably has the money but wants to use it for other things until she is feeling more secure, and since she must see you as a pushover to do this to you, you will get your money when it's convenient for her.
True, being a dick might damage or ruin your friendship, but do you really want to be friends with someone who has so little regard for you that they are blowing you off after you did them a favor? The best way to get her attention is to start telling any mutual friends you might have about how she took your $$ and now she is screwing you, word will get back to her and the embarrassment will be more effective than any persuasion you might use.

bring over a bottle of wine....drink it with her....after she is a little tipsy ask her about the money....she will give some excuse and says she is sorry..."what can I do to make it up to you"....unbuckle your belt and say "it is time to play with JOHNNY" when she is done suckin.....tell her in a nice and loving voice...."this was your interest payment. I will be over tommorow night....but you buy the wine" lol:hump: :finger:
