Will Atlanta really get swept by the Phillies in a 4 game set?

Nice odds for going against a punchless Houston team after Houston scored 10 last night

St. Louis +134
Good value as Prior is always overpriced

Dodgers -104 (Even odds but they're the road team)
Lowe pitching great, finally earning his money

Oakland +141
Fading Schilling has worked well so far

Tampa Bay +168
We know what the D-Rays have done against the Yanks this year

Seattle +139
Two teams playing out the string, take the + money

Detroit +200
Angels shouldn't be favored by this much against anybody right now

Out of all these games, the only one I couldn't find a real good reason to play was Seattle. Too much chalk out there tonight to play many favorites. I may throw 1 unit on all DOGS tonight and see what happens. :drink:

I would guess you could make some good money doing this tonight and I might just do it!

Except for detroit. This is a must win for LAA with Colon on the mound and 2.5 games out. They HAVE to win this game!

i have done this several times this year and have profited from it EVERY time, i played every dog small today except for games involving the red sox and angles....good luck!!

I don't really like Seattle that much, although Harris threw a good game against TX earlier this year. However, I don't want to omit that game, or lay a 1/2 unit of chalk on the Rangers only to have it mess up my strategy. I just made my plays, doing what I said except raising the STL and ATL plays to 2 units, since those are definite plays I would make anyway. I laid off the 2 late games for now to see what the lines do. I think Detroit line will get even better as people chase on the Angels later, and if the Dodgers move to a favored line I will take the Giants.

Got the Nats, didn't play the Royals. This idea didn't occur to me earlier, because I only looked at the early games this morning. Royals would have really helped the cause though...

Well now that 2 dogs are already won, ya might have missed the train....JMO

You may be right, but...too late now. It just feels better not to lay any chalk, even if I lose every game I have played so far I only drop eight units...doubt that will be the case but you never know.

Total on the night: +2.00 units, not too bad (doesn't include upgrading Cards and Braves to 2 unit plays).

Should have stayed with my initial read on the Dodgers, oh well, live and learn:drink:
