two of the worst calls i have ever seen...both in the same game.

the fix was clearly in here. you will read in the papers in a few weeks how the refs had tcu on the moneyline at pinnacle for 10 dimes.

Guess who was on Utah!

I had the game middled at 3 and only had the net with no game tracking but it sounds like I was screwed as well? But how did Utah get 3 then TCU 6 in OT?

OK, thanks thats what I thought, but what about the illegal pick. Was that an interception by Utah that was deemed illegal then and would have won them the game?

That must be it.

I must be a real degenerate to play in-game and set up a middle when I have no idea of the action.

If you get the chance to catch a replay, you'll also see that the man in motion was not going sideways - he was angling forward. Illegal motion for sure. If Terrell Owens or Randy Moss were allowed to do that, they would score 5 TD's a game. There is no way to cover it.

Anyways, game over for us, but the refs must be cashing their tickets right now.

TCU had 3rd and goal, ran a man in motion (of which I thought he was moving toward the line of scrimmage at the snap, which would have been illegal motion). Another receiver broke toward the inside and basically blocked the D-back chasing the motion man. easy TD for TCU.

Refs were awful, no doubt...but they also weren't responsible for TCU picking it up on D and completely outplaying Utah in the 2nd half. The Utes were flat and lackluster on offense throughout the 2nd half. TCU captured all the momentum. Still, Utah should've won, and the refs were abysmal. Sucks, I was def. rooting for a Utah win and cover.

The refs were pretty terrible all game, they seemed to miss everything, the out of bounds call for Utah on their last drive of the 4th quarter that didn't stop the clock, I believe TCU had a pass called incomplete that should have been a reception as well late in the 1st half.

I did not play this game huge but learned a lot for next week and so should many of you as Utah is definitely a bet against vs Air Force. Here are the reasons why:

1. Coach Willingham being a defensive coach has no clue on how to make offensive adjustments. He was calling the same shitty option play on 3 and less than 5 yards all night though each time he called it TCU was not only covering Johnson before pitch but also was 5 yards deep waiting on pitch and even flat out stole a pitch though they fumbled back on the same play.

2. Stale Offensive Play Calling...Utes coaching staff had no original plays in key situations. Their play calling was stale and predictable as I was calling what they were going to do nearly every play by looking at formation. I don't know the stats but first down was a non existent down as often there was no gain or a loss and always playing last 2 downs in long yardage situations.

3. Defense is stout on inside runs but have no team speed and does not swarm on outside the tackle plays. Air Force which also runs the option but at a much higher level with Carney than Gunn is going to eat them up unless they make adjustments and from what I have seen in first 3 games they rather can't or won't.

4. Their kicking game is weak on kickoffs and punts. They will not win a field possession game as punter has no hang time on punts or kickoffs and coverage units on both were horrible.

5. QB Johnson is young and will be good but right now this guy is indecisive and unsure on these passing plays. He often would go back to pass and have nobody open and would start to roll outside the pocket. He would come even with the line of scrimmage and where he could have run for about 10-15 yards untouched would simply camp out there and would rather be sacked or make horrible throw.

6. Utah offensive line is very avg to below avg. They don't run block or pass block above avg as Johnson had no time to throw and he didn't either in first 2 games.

In summation, this Utah team is not very good and very overrated. Willingham is in over his head and does not know what to do on offense. As witnessed by 0-3 ats start this season, this team is a great fade imo and when they play teams that can score with regularity (Air Force qualifies next Thurs) they will get pounded. Look for Air Force to be a nice road doggie and easy winner at Utah next week!

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..
