Molina dropped a pop-up right to him that would have ended it in the 9th. It was raining pretty hard and then Eckstein slipped, and they had to delay it to prevent injuries. But they played for a long time in the rain before that, and it was coming down pretty hard. When it looked like it wasn't going to stop raining for a long time, they just called it. I doubt anyone other than gamblers cared.
