Just read an article about an 88 year old women who got wiped out in one of the online casinos.The DA in Michigan is looking into any improprieties on the part of the company that owned the casino. It may be company in England sportingbet.com...Well, I guess she was certainly old enuf to wager.

i read in more than a few placeshow seniors are at a HUGE risk to start gambling and in the process lose A LOT of money - maybe all they ever earned - if not more

this is not the first time this has happened nor will it be the last

There is a casino here near Pittsburgh called Mountaineer that has slots (no table games) and the place is absolutely booming. Funny thing is if you walk into that place at any given time, I'd say it is filled by 75% senior citizens. And the place is always packed. People come from all over to give their money away. If they realized how easy it was to sit in their own home and give their money away on the PC, they'd be all over it.

That's a PR headache/nightmare for the online casino that took a poor old lady for that much. Shame on them.

SO true about the senior citizens in briack and mortar casinos playing the slots. It's so pathetic. It should be banned. Let them play bingo and lawn bowling.

A sad tale - the poor old woman probably has nothing else in her life to entertain her. whats really sad is that she didnt even have a fair chance because of the rigged software. I will say a prayer for her that the web site will experience a large amount of chargbacks!
