the FUNNIEST part of the show was Fezzik

last week when Big Al McMordie was on he must have promoted his site - at least 6 times. so this week as a running gag Fezzik would mention Big Al and the say if you want to find out more info make sure to go to Al's site at and each time he did it - John Kelly and the audience were rolling with laughter

As for this week - BOTH took Arkansas +31.5 over USC so this is only a 6-pick contest. as for their picks:

Fezzik
*****
Michigan State +6.5
49ers/Eagles U41
Panthers +3
Rams/Cards U44
Giants -3
BEST BET: Chargers +3

********
Ron Boyles
********
Pitt +10
N. Carolina +3.5 (Fezzik likes this, too)
Rice +41
Miss State -2.5
Arizona +7
BEST BET: Nevada +1.5

Funniest part was when he made a joke about touts and insurance employees. The inside part of the joke is Fez used to work in that industry.

Fezzik also got in a good line when he said he wanted to apologize for recent comments he made in which he said that anyone who sells picks and doesn't back them up with cash wagers should quit and go sell insurance...he then apologized to the hard-working members of the insurance industry

After Saturday's college games, Boyles is in the clubhouse at 3-2-2 with a best-bet winner...Fezzik is 1-1. The rules are that the highest win percentage advances, so 4-3 does not beat 3-2-2.

I'll give the credit to ComptrBob at Fezzik's website for breaking down the scenarios:

"Best winning percentage wins, thus Fez wins with Sunday records of 5-0, 4-1, 4-0-1, 3-0-2, 3-1-1, 2-0-3 and 1-0-4. Also, he ties with 2-1-2 and best bet SD covering. He loses with 2-1-2 and SD loss or push. He loses with 3-2 or worse pct." He also points out "the NY Giants -3 are a Monday night pick so Fez must go 3-1 or better pct wise (or the oddball cases, 2-1-1, 1-1-2 and 0-0-4) tomorrow to stay alive."
