Hi, I post on some other sports forums. Just joined RX, I've never gotten a definitive answer to these questions (if there is one). Please answer them/give opinion:
What % of your bankroll did you wager on each play?
Do you vary your bet sizes, or did you use a flat betting unit for each play?
Do you ever vary your bets even if you use a flat betting system, such as betting 2 or 3 units on one or 2 games a week you really liked?
Do you handicap using trends more so then situational and/or fundamental handicapping?
Do you ever use systems just based on data for handicapping?
I am interested in this because sports bettors bet differently, they use different bankroll management and some win and of course some don't. I don't post much here but I do at other sports boards and people are successful varying their bets (still with some sort of BR management unit system) and those that do flat betting are also successful. I personally think flat betting is the way to go and maybe occasionally varying your bets on plays you feel great about. This is just how I've bet on the NFL so far with success however.
I hope to get alot of replies to this thread. I am looking for advice and I'd love to hear what everyone has to say. I bet the NFL on and off and do well with it, I've made most of my money from being a poker prop however I'd like to bet more money on sports. At, 2+2 there was a post in the "sports betting forum" that discussed sports forums and several replies were "The RX is the best and it is not even close." I've since checked out the site and the forum, and yes it isn't even close! This site has a wealth of information, contests, bonuses, everything. I'm glad I found it.
Thank you for reading and answering, I hope to contribute.
