........because the books were so focused on the football action and often ignored the "other" sports.

I have my personal thoughts on this subject.

Do you find this to be true with the offshore world of sportsbetting?

Certain un-named books are very slow with baseball line moves on weekends for sure.

Jest, an example would be laying -120 on a team at one book and taking +123 at another.

There is still some smaller scalps available if you use Vegas for one side and offshores for the other. Lots of potential middles in football when you use some of the chalk-loving books like Stations and Coast, both locals focused outlets where the same 5 teams get pounded each week.

Sort of. $550 limit per game and $2200 limit per day. Also have to use this stupid pager system, you call a number, it sends you a pager code, then you call the book and give them your plays. Not very efficient. Supposedly soon regulators will pass a system where a GPS phone can be used to ditch the pagers. Stupid thing is they will insist on keeping the limits in place, even though the idea with the limits was if someone was outside the state they couldn't place a lot of bets here. With a GPS phone, the system is foolproof, they will know the phone is located in the state.

OK. Over here we have to phone in our bets for anything in the run. That's because it's considered "interactive gaming" (like an online casino). You can bet on a game before it starts online because it hasn't started so it's therefore not interactive, or something like that. Australia has given out some online casino licences, but they can only accept wagers from people overseas. How nice of them to protect their own citizens from this evil.

Just for the record i think these laws are illogical and hypocritical

What a waste of time that would be. Screw scalping baseball. I made more middling college foots today than I could working 100 hours scalping baseball.
