INDIANA HOOSIERS.......The "Fly" in the BCS Ointment....

Is it too early to start worrying about the IU Hoosiers in the BCS standings, should they go undefeated all year?...........

Assuming they hold the 31-7 lead at home tonight, they will be 3-0 and on their way to a National Championship clash with either Texas or USC.....

C.Mich, IAA, Kentucky isn't exactly a murderer's row. Enjoy it while you can, they will be battling with Illinois for the big ten basement.

lol bucsfan, i just got home from a 5 yr class reunoin and am pretty drunk, but taht is funny stuff. IU will go 4-7, I hope we go 6-5 though I'm not countnmg on that.

6-5 would be a tremendous first year for the new coach, and i believe he will be able to recruit some better players here....to be honest , they didnt give DiNardo much of a chance, but i think they wanted the Miami-O coach, and new they had to jump now to get him......People forget, IU HAS HAD some talent in the past, they just havent gotten enough to make that REAL GOOD team.....but hopefully he can assemble some.....

They usuallly spring one upset each year in the Big Ten, if they could couple that with say beating Illinois, or maybe NW, they might have a shot....but you are right, for now, 4-7, 5-6 is probably the likely scenario....It was looking decent last year, when they went on the road and beat ranked Oregon, then the wheels fell off....However, just beating Kentucky is a start, havent even done that very often, its been as bad as basketball in that rivalry....
