I would take USC +17.5 on a neutral field. What do you guys think?

No Fishy, but I've had a few budweisers so my judgement is a bit clouded right now. What would you make the line Fishy on a neutral field?

NE -31. C'mon people. These are kids.

I'm no line maker so your line is probably a lot sharper than mine. I would take the 31 too :)

Knowing that the Pats would give maximum effort?

I would say -21 would be reasonable. More than half of these kids on SC could end up being NFL starters, especially all the skill position players and the secondary. Pats biggest edge would be the battle in the trenches, with SC right now pretty young along the D-Line. No doubt though SC's secondary could match up very well against the Pats pedestrian receiving crew. Just don't think they could stop Dillon, he could run up 250 yards easily.

Cmon!

USC would be a +21 dog or more to the WORST team in the NFL!

USC front 7 would get dominated on both sides of the ball by an NFL team. But it would be fun to watch.

I would love to see them play, thats all. A real team playing, not college all-stars. I suspect we are all led to believe the NFL is that far ahead of the NCAA and it isn't as much as it might have been in the past. I guess you guys are right about the Pats against SC, but look at a team like the Browns and ask yourself this. How many of SC's players would the Browns personnel people start above what the have now? I would say quite a few.

Fish is DEAD ON here. Browns come at least -21 over USC - and EASILY cover. How many times have we seen NFL rookie qbs struggle a lot in the NFL - now imagine what leinart would go thru

Browns KILL USC and the score is close to what USC did to Arkansas

Key to this is its a real team that has been playing together. Rookie QB in a new offense with new players isn't the same. The size and speed of his receivers and Bush are what make Leinart look so damn good. He will indeed struggle when he gets to the pros because he will have a worse receiving corps than he has now.

New England is 18 at home vs 49ers.

Last years Trojan D line would hold it own against any nfl line, Trojans wrs last 5 yrs are deeper and better than anything the NFL has to offer.

Norm Chow had much better talent at Troy than in Tenn.

From what I have seen of the NFL last 2 weeks, the leauge does not impress me.

Trojans at Coliseum no doubt beat Browns, last year. This yr Troys D not as good.
