open in a new $25 million theater in the

May ??= MIRAGE opens a new 90-minute show
created by Cirque du Soleil, featuring a
celebration of Beatles music. Will replace
the closed Siegfried & Roy Show.
A new $100 million theater replacing the
Siegfried & Roy Theater and seating 2,000,
with 360-degree seating, is already under
construction. The stage will be a
theater-in-the round. Cirque performers will
appear from below as well as above the stage.
The new show is tentatively called "The Boys".

CAR RENTAL FACILITY: Sometime in 2006, the new
$160 million consolidated car rental facility at McCarran
Airport will open on Warms Springs Rd.between
Gillespie St. and Haven St.
Construction has started.
Once opened, there will be only one bus to ALL the 11
car rental agencies and not the present system where
each company has its own bus. ALL the 11 car rental
companies will be housed in one complex. It will take
longer to get from the airport terminal to your car rental
pick-up but hopefully the location to return your car will

3-year run.

MCCARRAN AIRPORT= Sometime in very early 2006,
will start using radio frequency tags (RFID System) on
all checked luggage.
The tags will be read by screening machines as the
bags travel on the conveyor belts to the correct plane
and ensure that each bag meets security requirements.
A building is under construction just behind the main
terminal to house the above and other security
equipment.
PALMS: Sometime in early 2006 will open the second
tower, just behind the existing one. This 40-story tower
to have 300 rooms (making a total of 720 rooms)
and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.Playboy will
open a nightclub, lounge, retail store and sky villa.

2006, Station Casinos will open this $475 million,
2,000 employee, hotel/casino with:
400-rooms; 198-ft. tall tower; 2,700 slot and video
machines; 60 table games; race and sportsbook;
12-table poker room; 600-seat bingo parlor; nightclub;
six bars; 16-screen Regal movie theater; arcade;
childcare center; pool and beach area; spa and
10 restaurants.
Rande Gerber, husband of Cindy Crawford and owner
of Whisky Sky nightclub in the Green Valley Ranch
will be opening a lounge and nightclub.
Construction has started.

Sometime in 2007, Wynn Las Vegas is opening Eric Idle's
(of Monty Python fame) sold-out Broadway musical spoof
of the King Arthur tale "Spamalot" to Las Vegas in a
specially designed $70 million building called
Spamalot Experience and Grail Theater to house the
Tony Award winning production.

Sometime in 2007, the new HOOVER DAM bypass
and bridge opens. Major visible construction has
started and with security vehicle check points, there are

Sometime around March, 2007 the VENETIAN will open
their third tower called "Palazzo" on the south-east
corner of The Strip and Spring Mountain where the now
demolished Tam O'Shanter Motel was located. The
meeting rooms for this phase are under construction
next to the Sands Convention Center. The foundation for
the hotel has also started.
The 53-stories tower will have 3,025 suites, cost
$1.6 billion, with casino (1,900 slot machines and 80
table games), meeting space, shopping mall,
restaurants, underground parking and 1,500-seat theater.
There will be a 60-foot glass domed entry lobby with a
two-story fountain.
When completed, it will be part of the largest hotel
complex in the world with over 7,000 hotel rooms.
2008

Starwood will open a $1.7-billion "W" hotel and
condominium project next to the Hard Rock which will
include 3,000 hotel and condominium units, a
75,000-square-foot casino, meeting space, bars and
restaurants.

Project CityCenter is a $5 billion, 66-acre complex
of hotels, casinos, retail and residential space which
is to be built by November 2009 by MGM Mirage on a
site between the Monte Carlo and Bellagio hotels on
