Maybe everyone is too busy getting ready for the hurricane, isn't it headed that way tomorrow?

Hurricane is still 36 hours off, and South Florida is not expecting much (cat 1 is worst case scenario) so weather is not a factor. Believe it or not, this is a football town.....most were home watching the Dolphins and Jets, which had a late start of 4:15. Hard to imagine Dad corraling the kids into the station wagon and heading to the ballpark at 7:30 PM after the Dolphins game ended. What little fan base they have is convinced they blew their chance at the Wildcard on Saturday. Fair weather fans big time down here.

I have been in Miami working for the last two weeks. Nobody talks about the Marlins. One out of 10 calls on any sports talk show is Marlins talk. The biggest surprise to me is the large hispanic population is really into football down here. I like that, I dont know why but I do.
