yea, i cant stand the two shows before it. Around the Horn and Jim Rome. Jim Rome is a pompous idiot, although the Jim Everett interview created the funniest things I've ever seen. There is nothing redeemng about Around the Horn, Woody Paige is a complete idiot, Mariotti doesn't shut up, and Reali completely bombs. I dont know how that show is still on the air.
PTI is great= Good Cop, Bad Cop/WHo Am I?/Swami routine. It makes sports fun which was the original intention I hope. Nothing worse than yappers who make sports out to be more important than life itself. AtHorn is usually good for a couple of laughs even though the premise of the show is ridiculous... "the show of competitive banter.." HAAAAA!
PTI is GREAT - the ONLY show i make sure to record weekdays and 1 of only 3 good shows on ESPN (Primetime and Sports Reporters)
HOWEVER - ESPN is trying to ruin the show by now concluding the show DURING the worst show on TV - SportsCenter. i don't fall for this crap and ONLY watch the first 30 minutes. one time i taped it on espnews and the last segment on espnews is the one they show on SC and the last segment they show on ESPN before SC doesn't get shown
Kornheiser and Wilbon have GREAT chemistry and my fave segment is either Toss Up or "Heads on Sticks" but for me - sometimes the best part of the show is just before they toss it to commerical and they continue a few seconds of ranting just before they do
