I'll say it if nobody else will...
First off, I dontated to the Red Cross a week after the hurricane. That being said, for the past weeks we have been innundated will requests for donations on every TV and radio channel almost 24/7.
With all reverence to those affected by the hurricane, we are rapidly approaching overkill with the requests for donations. My feeling is that those that are predisposed to donating have already done so. No intention here to offend those in need as I have donated myself. I'm sure I shall be convicted of political incorrectness for even breaching the subject of overkill...

i called and donated last night. took forever to get thru got man busy signals and after i got thru was on hold for about 15 minutes. i was HOPING to talk to one of the NFL guys but instead got some (what sounded like) young woman. would have doubled my donation had i spoken to Elway
