In the past it has cost to much money to try expierimental "hurricane reducing technology" on storms. In the wake of a $200 billion monster we need to try these. We all know that these storms get their energy from the warm water of the summer seas. I work in the chemical field and it is a fact these things can be done but they will cost huge bucks. When a hurricane is headed for land drop suricants on the ocean to reduce evaporation and plant the clouds to induce precipatation. This on a large scale will reduce storms by 1 or 2 catagories. Sure they will still run their course but not with the force nature intended.
