Bonds could still hit 800 homers if you asked me, and more amazing he's playing the outfield with bad wheels...still incredible...

We saw Sammy fall off, Giles, Thome, Juan Gone, barry comes back after a year off and still looks like he could hit 50 a year...

just say no to steroids.:nono5:

Yeah he'll catch Hank. But does anyone really care anymore?

Best that he breaks the record at home to avoid all the boos on the road. If he does it at Dodger stadium he might get shot.

I am with you...he could put in 2 more solid seasons with 45+ HR's, and if he wanted, he could play longer and put up decent numbers 25+ as he ages...it is really up to him!

Look, who's kidding who, the guy probably used roids. So did McGwire, Sosa, Giambi, Palmeiro and countless others, many of whom are destined for the hall of fame. But steroids did not make him the most intelligent hitter I've ever seen, they didn't make him a 8 time gold glove winner, they didn't give him a .370 AVG and a OBA over .600 last year. This guy is the best player of our generation and perhaps the best ever and he deserves credit for that, even if the media doesn't like him.

that pitch he crushed last night off Patterson was so far down and in, incredible he put that in the seats...most players would have fouled that off their ankle!

just goes to show how valuable he is to that team, still the best player in the game, SF probably wins 95 games easy and coasts in that division.

the whole thing is a joke. why not just build a robot to hit homeruns.

maris and aaron should not lose their recoreds to bonds, sosa, mgwire, etc. it is a travesty.

hank aaron and willie mays were under 200 lbs and they hit all those homeruns. they are the truley amazing ones. not this cheating, arrogant, bitter man.

Yes. Thank you blue.

I have no idea why everyone is praise giving to this liar and cheater.

The cream and also the clear were undetectable in 2002, and clomid is a well known masking agent. The scientists are out there making newer and better stuff all the time.

Theres just no doubt the guy is still using. I mean, how many sizes has his hat gone up?!

some interesting blurbs about steriods here

and the parks were bigger, it is amazing when you look at the size of Mays and Aaron, in comparison.:103631605

Keep this thread bookmarked. I will pay you $50 if Bonds breaks the record.

Bonds will break down with injury before he gets around to breaking Aaron's record. We KNOW he used steroids in the past, and these things catch up to people because they tend to break down VERY easily. Bonds could tear an Achilles during the off-season just running in the yard with his kid.

Thats a good point cincy. and another big reason aaron got that record was becuase of his longevity from NOT using steriods.

Has bonds ever missed this many games in a season? I dont believe so.

of course he hasn't...I still believe there was another reason he sat out this year...BTW- he looks bigger than ever.

he will break it , no question.

I give him a little more credit for doing it in the outfield, no DH here...

When you think of Aaron, you think of class, dignity, respect.

I don't think that at all with Bonds. I think of blaming the media, steroid allegations, inability to throw out Sid Bream. And: greatest hitter ever.

But give me Aaron any day. Bonds is no one's hero.

Well Said TT.

The Connection between Bonds and Balco, will not be forgoten anytime soon.

Youngsters for generations to come that are just learning the history of the game will be told by their Dads, Grandfathers and Uncles about how Barry did'nt look a damn thing like when he started playing and that most suspected him of cheating.

Odds cincy will have to pay

HE WILL +350
HE WONT -400

He's breaking down quickly.

Allthough currently 6th in NL OBP.
