Cliff Lee vs. Runelvys Hernandez
What? Take the Royals are you kidding? Sounds crazy but i saw what happened last time Cliff Lee pitched in Kansas City - he got LIT UP. Royals were up 7-2 until their 9th inning collapse, when the indians came back & won 13-7 in the ninth.
in that game, the Tribe was -9. Tonight they are -12 at my book. My book sucks.
Anyway, Royals just SWEPT the Tigers over a 4 game series. All kinds of public bettors, squares, mushes, rookies, college students, morons etc will be hammering the tribe. Wagerline, more than 2-1 favor the tribe. Of course, the tribe are gonna sweep. Maybe.
All i know is that Cliff Lee looked bad last time he played in KC. Getting 2-1 on the team with a 4 game win streak, playing at home, facing a pitcher they crushed, is a much better deal than laying more than 2-1 on the team with a 1 game win streak. I gotta believe them Royals got a taste of revenge in their mouths. This game is NOT GONNA GO as most people plan!!!
There are times where those huge lines are a little too huge. Like this one. There is no reason to bet on a guy named Runelvys based on fundamentals, but it's september & the unpredictable happens on a nightly basis in these playoff games!
Probably this will lose, but sometimes i like to shoot the moon...
good luck! :103631605

Runelvys Hernandez gets the call for the Royals on Thursday and will be in search of his first win since July 22 against Toronto. The righthander is 0-3 with three no- decisions in his last six starts.

After spending time on the disabled list with a sore back and then serving a 10-game suspension for his role in a July 17 benches-clearing incident at Detroit, Hernandez returned to the mound last Saturday to face Lee and the Indians. In that contest, he took the loss after surrendering five runs on six hits in only three innings of work. It marked his first setback in four lifetime decisions against Cleveland.

I would be willing to lay 2 1/2 and take Cleveland in this one. Lee is a monster and Clev. holds a 8-4 edge over KC with at least 2 of those losses coming when Clev. was struggling early in the season. good luck
