Ladies, one of the strongest winning trends in baseball ended when the Cubs beat the Cards 7-4 in Carpenter's last start. Cards won 17 in a row when Carpenter took the mound. Look at this performance for June July & August then look at his last 2 starts. He went 8-9 innings, giving up 3 runs or less very consistently. Suddenly he is pitching less innings & giving up more runs.

Cards have clinched everything they can & are going to give impact players a rest. Do not expect Carpenter to go a lot of innings tonight. He is going to be saved for the post season. Scrubs will be in the starting lineup & relievers might come in as early as 3rd inning! You want RAY KING backing your wager?

wagerline shows 2-1 on the Cards. You people are sheep! Cards don't care about this game.

Capuano is the Brewers ace, the brewers have been kicked around all season by the Cards & now it's revenge time. Don't expect Capuano to be pulled early. He's playing to win tonight, not looking forward to the post season.

All this is relfected in that FUNKY line! when was the last time you saw Carpenter -7? This line says it all. Brewers +6 are gonna take the game.

Bank it! :103631605

sure. my thoughts is that carpenter is a team player & is concerned about the post season. Larusa doesn't give a frogs fat ass about cy young, he cares if carpenter gets injured in a meaningless game & i think chris would agree.

IMO Cy young is already decided regardless of the last week in baseball. Carpenter's gonna get it, & tonight is not going to change that

thanks dude!
didn't really turn out the way i thought, but a win is a win!
it's true that Carpenter is fading some. Maybe he's getting tired after all those 8 & 9 inning games. It was that funky line that caught my eye.
woo hoo!!!
