David Wells is old, out of shape, & in September, MONEY to take off the rest of the season. Red Sox fans got taste of a Wells playoff game in his last start...2.2 innings pictched, 10 hits, 4 earned runs against the DEVIL RAYS of all teams. His team needs him in a tight playoff run & he is preparing to retire.
Pardon me as i am a rather bitter yankee fan that despises him for his performance in game 5 of the 2003 world series. We needed that fat fuck when the series was 2-2 & he shit the bed when he was needed most. He used to be my Yankee hero & now I HATE HIS GUTS
I hope he single handedly keeps the Sox out of the playoffs.
