I took <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Dallas minus the 6 1/2. When they trailed by twelve late in the forth I figured out the only way I could win. Dallas scores quickly, SF goes three and out, then Dallas scores again quickly and leaves enough time for SF to have a few tries at coming back. Then SF throws an interception that’s returned for a touchdown. Odds against all this happening, maybe 100-1. Well like a miracle, it all happen. The only problem for the Dallas bettors was the very last part. We had to have the only fairly speedy linebacker with a brain on our side. I just watch the replay for the tenth time on ESPN. Dat Nguyen intercepts in SF territory, the whole left side of the field is open, not a 49er in sight. This is a defensive lineman dream, to score a touchdown that secures a victory, But Nguyen knows instantly that falling down is the right play with 50 sec. left.

Vietnam costs me 18 months of my life and now this.

How many players in the league would be that smart and unselfish? Probably 1. And you got that one. Better luck tomorrow, buddy.
