Do you still enjoy actually gambling part of it the anticipation of the WIN before the win or Loss actually happens ... Or do you just do it like clockwork and have no feeling anymore for what happens whether good or bad with the bet?

thanks for the feedback

i've only become bored with poker.. i played so many sit and go's in a short time frame that i have no desire to play anymore..

sports betting will never get old..

one win doesnt make me , one loss doesnt break me..

It's definitely more of a job than it used to be. Its enjoyable to a point, obviously less so when you are losing....I think it is important to take breaks. After the Breeders Cup, I will break until January. And it isn't difficult for me to do that. You have to have discipline.

I know what you are getting at Dante. I went 7-1 on Sunday and didn't really get all that jacked up. I can remember my second year betting I won $ 600 one Sunday going undefeated and I could barely sleep that night. Week 1 this year I lost 20 units...if I had done that 15 years ago i would have been shaking...now I just figure I will get it back and sure enough two winning weeks later I am only down 5 units for the year.

Now winning free money...that still excites me! Congrats on your Rio Pick 6 win!
Last year I won the $ 1,000 twiice in the Hollywood Big Score contest and that did get me jacked up!

Dante,

You STOLE your own thread!!!!!!!!!!
:monsters- Congratulations, though.

In any case, I still enjoy gambling BUT it is tough for me to enjoy a game if I don't have money on it. So even if I have no feel for the side or total, I will make a $20 wager on the team that I intend to cheer for even if I think they won't cover.

Well sports gambling gets old if things not going well. Ya know where its bad beat after bad beat. Love it when its winning and still "like" it when loseing.
Been a part of my life for long long time now. Love the foots, like the baskets, and HATE the baseball. JMHO

THANKS CINCY...GREAT POINT ... I wonder what percent can not enjoy a game unless money is on it??? I would say its pretty high ..im not in that group but I can see how one can become that

In fact I enjoy a game MORE if I have no money on it ..no stress
