Bonds 0-5 7 LOB

It would be much more interesting seeing the Giants get in as the 'real' NL Wild Card team!

3 back with 3 meeting left head to head

Being a Giant fan and having some great futures on the Giants, I was glued to the TV last night. What a dramatic win. It looked like Giles caught that ball that he robbed Winn of a home run in the 9th...but it popped out when he hit the wall allowing the tying run to score. Then JT Snow came through with a big hit to drive in the go ahead run!

It is still an uphill battle, but if they can steal a win today, things definitely get interesting because they have Lowry and Schmidt going in the final 2 games of the series. Tomko goes today against Eaton and Tomko has really been pitching well.

Great series!

Tomko is a time bomb....I hope it happens though!

He is not someone I would like to have going in this situation normally, but he has been lights out lately. He started the season on fire and was the Giants best starter. Then went back into being himself for the majority of the season...now he is back on fire. I just hope he is on top of his game tonight. The pitcher friendly park also helps because when he gets lit up, it is usually by giving up the home run ball and not scattering around a bunch of hits. It is tough to win with the long ball in San Diego.

If they win tonight...LOOK OUT! Here are the matchups in the last 2 games in the series if Schmidt is able to go:

Jason Schmidt (12-6, 4.29 ERA) vs Pedro Astacio (5-10, 4.85 ERA)
Noah Lowry (13-13, 3.90) vs Brian Lawrence (7-15, 5.06 ERA)

Lowry has kinda hit the wall the past few starts...Giants make fo a much better storyline.

Bonds could still be NLCS MVP, amazing when you think about it.

I don't know how Tomko gets anyone out...everytime I take him he gets lit up, if I play him Under he gets shelled...he's one of those players I can never be on right side of...he may be my top nemesis to bet for or against.

I am definitely rooting for the Padres to not make the playoffs, as they are a pathetic team. It probably won't happen, but it would be a shame to see such mediocrity get rewarded.

It was a hell of a game. What dramatics. No doubt in my mind that the Giants are the better team but still a tall order to make up the ground. They have to sweep. I just bought in on some Giants futures. They have always kind of been my favorite NL team although not even in the same breathe as the Royals. Always been a Bonds fan. Would love to see them get in.

Did not see the game, just the final result. But cashing that +1.70 ticket was sweet! :103631605 Leaving tonight's game alone.
