Shouldn't sportswriters and commentators know something about oddsmaking before they offer opinions on gambling? Didn't a columnist look foolish writing that oddsmakers blew the line on the Notre Dame-Michigan game because the Irish, an eight-point underdog, won the game by seven points?

Interesting rant be David Scott, he left out my personal least favorite TV commentator Dan Dierdorf (can't stand the guy). 2nd least favorite is Paul Maguire:

What would the over/under be on how many times ESPN's Paul Maguire starts a sentence with "You talk about" during a game?

I can hear Maguire now - "you talk about" blah blah blah....
