I've been working with this company for some time now. Approx. 3 month ago, this company offered me to do a course to update my skills and receive a pay raise. Well Monday I started this course that will last 30 days. To make the story short, school is more stressful then work + overtime and putting-up with your boss. It also seems like I'm out of the betting picture.

Has anyone come across this?

first off - 30 days w/o betting won't kill you - even at this time of year - knowing what the payoff down the line will be

and you might wanna go talk to your boss and let him know that school and all of the work (homework and reading and all) is making for a VERY long day/time period and is there any way you can go a tad easier on the sked for the next 30 days so you can get the most out of school which will - in turn - make it more productive and thus make you a better employee. put it this way and he/she might go for it.
