I am not a chauvinist fellas, I think some female football reporters do great work, I just can't think of any names except the chubby redhead that has been doing it for fifteen plus years now..also like Linda Cohn, Suzy Kolber, Pam Oliver, and Inga Hammond.
And Stacey Dales-Schuman is excellent at womens hoops.
What would women think if ESPN execs put a dimwit like Evan Marriott on the sidelines to report on WNBA, softball, or ladies hoops?..I think their strongest demographic(sports dykes) would be aggravated.

Women are fine in the studio but generally speaking terrible on the sideline. Suzy Kolber is like someone’s annoying kid sister who wants to prove she knows as much about football as the guys. I am never interested in anything she has to say. I want to follow what's happening in the game and don't give a shite about a story involving a players likes or dislikes. .. Don't cut away while we're wondering if that last run was a first down or not to tell us how many pork chops some center eats after each game. It's hard enough to listen to Joe Theisman on Sunday night.

The redhead you might be thinking about is Heather Cox - she is HOT with a GREAT smile. And Stacey D-S is good - and she will only get better. As for the WNBA and Evan - like anyone would notice. They could run a test pattern for 2 hours and it would probably get better ratings then Beaver Ball
