Maybe because the Whitesox clinched yesterday .If I where the CWSox I would let Cleveland get the wildcard because I would rather play them than the NYY or BOSox .

The White Sox will be playing the wildcard right ?

But then again in the playoffs you can't play someone in your division i n the first round so I really don't know why it is off the board .

I do like Cleveland if there is a line .

White Sox could also lay down this entire series to make sure that either the Yanks or Boston doesn't make it.

I would if I were them.

Slowplayer I doubt they will, but sure wouldn't risk anyone getting hurt or pitching deep into the game. Don't know if throwing a series is ethical or not?

Supposely , Buerlie Is Quoted To Saying This Series Means Nothing.....it Does For Cleveland ....and The White Soxs Havent Secured Home Field Either...im Going To Wait Til I See The Soxs Line Up Which Isnt That Imposing Even When All The Starters Play.

he is solid. why the -176

Nice looking dog, but again looks to good to be true. Books seeking action on the dog. May well get plenty on the Soxs at that number. Know of one "square" place writing 60/40 on the Soxs.

First of all the White Sox can't play Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs. Teams from the same division can't play each other in the first round.

I just heard the Sox starting lineup and it is all bench guys. The only two regulars in the starting lineup tonight are Posednick and Crede.

1. Pods
2. Anderson
3. Gload
4. Borch
5. Crede
6. Timo
7. Widger
8. Blum
9. Harris

Sox play angels if clev gets it, and they are good vs. sox, and have their rotation set up. Sox should beat clev. and hope the rsox nyy pens burn up this weekend

So, what does the series mean to Chicago?

"Nothing," said Mark Buehrle, Friday's scheduled starter.
