Are these lines sharper than the other 45-50 games on saturday?

I'd almost surely have to say yes. Sometimes linesmakers, just like us regular folk who try to pick winners out of a huge weekend card, can get caught up in the high number of games that there are and put out a occasional bad line or two.

I'd say no, but I'm sure that they get a lot more volume than they would if they were "just another game" on a big Saturday card.

Probably are tougher to beat simply because its these games almost every player will bet on for the simple reason 'its the only game going'...

This is why I think all baseball bettors should have MLB.COM and if possible the NFL Ticket for NFL, so you will not be talked into betting TV games.

An excellent point by Jman. Before MLBtv I would be sucked into betting a game I shouldn't have.
