You know what is scary...I LOVE THE SIGNING!!! We really lacked 3 point shooters last season. If there is one thing this guy can do (besides try and make the entire team go to church with him), he can knock down 3's!!!

The best player to wear #0 for the Clippers since Olden Polynice!!!

That is a GREAT signing for the clips.

I have never seen a scrapier, harding working player than Walter.

He was such a great hustle player, Tom Hienson would routinely yell "I - -LOVE - -WALTAH ! ! !" about 3-4 times a game.

For the 2nd year in a row:
THE BEST TEAM IN LA!!!

C - Kaman (9.1 ppg)
PF- Brand (20.0 ppg)
SF- Maggette (22.2 ppg)
SG- Mobley (17.2 ppg)
PG- Cassell (13.5 ppg)

By far the best starting 5 the Clippers have seen since their last playoff appearance.

I agree.

I need someone who's going to Vegas to put a futures bet down for me.

Finally got your Suns player eh Clipper fans? My goodness he was invisible. We had a good style for him and all and he did nothing. Couldn't defend, couldn't board, couldn't shoot...you get the picture. Best of luck with him, we got 5 guys on our bench better than Walter. The one move we made last year that definitely did not work out.

This is what my friend the Celtic fan emailed me when he heard the Clips got him: "He's good for 18 points and 10 boards - twice a year. :) "

He is a good guy to have on the team and a decent contributor off the bench. I am not saying the guy is a stud.

I am suprised he didnt work out for the suns for two reasons: 1.Celtic players seem to do better after they leave here and 2.The suns helter skelter style I thought would be perfect for him

The Clippers are just filling out their roster...it isn't like they signed him to be a major contributor. This is a great signing. He is the 3rd string PF and probably the 3rd or 4th option at SF. All he can be is a bonus...there won't be anything negative if the guy never sees the floor.

The Clippers should be more worried about getting Cassell to play hard. It's no secret he's not happy to be there, and the only solution to that problem is to play well and win right from the start.

I wouldn't be surprised if he starts dominating the ball, turn into a gunbox, and aleniate his teammates if they're struggling early in the season.

But I like a bunch of players on the Clippers, so I hope it doesn't happen.
