Nope, Texas seems less likely to lose than either SC or Georgia and they will almost certainly get the nod if they win them all. What would be interesting is if SC somehow stumbled and had a loss today, how many undefeated teams could they still jump past to the title game? Their rankings won't get dinged that hard and the computers will surely keep them rated sky high. That would be the ultimate controversy, not if they passed some minor conference school for a spot but if they got by a big conference school.

By the way, GEORGIA has not lost a bowl game by over 7 points since at least 1978..............so take the points vs USC in the title game and cash!

If they can somehow get through their schedule without a loss Alabama deserves to be number one. Lots of key games at home but there would be little doubt they deserve it this year. Of course that would likely include an SEC title match with Georgia.

Can't believe you guys don't think Georgia has some tough games ahead, going to Knoxville and Gainesville are gimmes????

USC better bring their "A" game to South Bend on October 15. Heck, they better find it today.

I feel it will be a USC/Texas Tech championship game. Yest that is correct, you heard it here first.

Who will beat Georgia?

Vols have good shot next weekend here in Knoxville

however Georgia has won up here the last several times

I think GA's offense is suspect (pot calling the kettle black here)

Vols defensive front will give Shockley a hard time

friend has 2 extra tickets to the game for anyone looking

Texas and USC in the big one it looks like early on this year

At this point, I would have to say Texas is by far and away, the best in the
Big-12. U.S.C. still has some work to do against Notre Dame and U.C.L.A., but
they seem to put into high gear when need be. Georgia could be the second straight S.E.C. team to go undefeated and be left out of the championship game.

And that would be another f@cking crime, as even though USC would've smacked Auburn last year by 13+, they still deserved the right to be there. And LSU in '03 would've been a toss-up with USC in New Orleans.

Georgia will not go unbeaten, but any SEC team that does has damn a good arguement to be in the game, in most any year, even if Texas or VT run the table this year.

Win-or-lose, the Pac-10 and Big-12 keep putting their best teams in the title game, due to the fact that each league only has 2 to 3 teams maximum, that are remotely hard for a legit top 7 team to beat into the BCS berth.

OU twice(should've been USC also Auburn) humbled instead of better possible team for in BCS Title game, Nebraska once(should've been Oregon), and ACC's FSU got the call to lose to Tenn instead of a deserving Miami(or Wash that beat Miami, & also a great Oreg St team that yr)..

USC is the king, but it would be nice if more than two to three maximum teams on their schedule could challenge them, and it sure is nice to play in a finesse ball conference, and it's easier physical toll on a team's health than the SEC or Big-10 would take by speed, size, and quality of depth.

Would love to see OU beat Texas for a simple reason: I live in Austin and Texas has the worse fans I have ever seen ...they have no loyalty and Mack Brown is too much of a class act to have to deal with large base of trenchcoats that define U of Texas fans

I would love to see Brown bolt - very unlikely - as UT fans are not worthy of a National title with the way they act and turn on Brown immediately when they lose a game

Go Tech and whip some ass in Lubbock!
