Wasn't sure until today. Complete domination of a good Minnesota team.

Yes I believe they are. I expected them to be better but they are better than I thought and are a pretty solid team and next week against Ohio State is going to be an awesome game.

Well, I laid 2.5 on Minny today, if that tells you what I thought at 2:30pm. Right now, shit, I'd have to favor Penn St or hang a pick em at home.

Since late JULY, have given PSU out as my sleeper team of the year!

Mentioned they would be 5-0 heading into this game and have a good chance of beating OSU.

Great win and complete domination...but Minnesota really isn't very good. They are very one dimensional.

I still think they should play Robinson would be a better WR/TB and the other QB could help their offense. They will need a passing game to beat the better teams.

They are for real though...I agree. Their defense is awesome.

Yep. I think Minny is going to have a tough road the rest of the way. Put 8-9 guys in the box, and they are helpless. Other teams will see this tape. I take back what I said about Minny being good. They are like a 3 point shooter who doesn't miss, but can't get open. That QB is gonna have to learn to throw the ball very quick, cause he's worse than I thought.

I would look at the PSU/OSU UNDER i the number is right. Line should be less than 3 one way or another. I'd favor OSU by -2 or so.

gophers tricked me again. another year they beat up on weak non-conference opponents, then beat an average big 10 team (purdue) and convinced me this was going to be their year when they'll probably end up in a non jan 1st bowl after a 6-5 or 7-4 season.

PSU, Bama, and at least the Defensive side of the ball for Nebraska, are all back to primetime status.

Good to see some recently down name brands back into the mix!

I'm a huge Penn State fan and I'm thrilled with the win today, however I'm still not sure about Robinson. He still misses many easy throws and has been been vunerable to turnovers. I don't know if he can consistently make big 3rd down passes to move the chains againdst higher level defenses.

We will find out next week for sure. That OSU D is very tough.

PSU is not the same team on the road though. They barely got by NWU for heaven's sakes!

We will beat Ohio State. I will be in section WF with the Mrs for her FIRST Penn State game ever (39 years old and never been to Happy Valley even though all of her brothers are alums WTF?!!!)

Quick strike offense, dominant defense...we are weak in kick return coverage so if you want to beat us that's where you do it. The number one rushing offense had 29 yards rushing late in the 3rd quarter! Mr. Minnesota Heisman had 11 yards on 10 carries through 3!

Ohio State is the money game boys...get that ML!

WE ARE...

Keep in mind it was the first Big 10 game for a lot of the key offense. A lot of jitters in the first half including the leader Mr. Robinson turning the ball over left and right. The defense was good enough to keep us in that game despite all the turnovers and the offense made up for it at the end when the D had almost nothing left.

They will be better on the road D2...I really felt since the beginning of the year if there was a game for us to lose it would be at Michigan (following the Ohio State game). Night in Happy Valley with this team firing on all cylinders. It's a no brainer for me next week.

I'll say Ohio St. -3......for home field if nothing else. It should be one hell of a game, that's for sure!

EDIT---Not sure where I saw it at OSU.....it's NOT!

The game is in Happy Valley. If the game were at OSU the line would be OSU -8.5 or so.

If they can get more consistency from Robinson they will be tough to beat. The schedule doesn't do them any favors as they travel to Michigan following the Ohio State game. If they beat Ohio State it would be nice to have an easier game the next week.
