Ahh...I wish I was going and still might. I have been to three but the tickets are high and I never even had enough $ to go when I could get them cheap as an OU student back in the late 80's. ENJOY, as this is truly one of the TOP two or three annual games held in NCAA football. The line means very little and the dog many times comes close to winning regardless. Take some time to enjoy the state fair too as, though I hate it, it's free with your ticket. Get some funnel cake and get a corny dog. It's a good state fair but usually it's too damn hot to enjoy. I hope you're not in the sun for the game but sun or not HAVE FUN and tell me about it. I'll let you know if I'll be there and we will meet up for a turkey leg and beer before the game. Actually, I live in Texas, grew up in Oklahoma and never lived in Tulsa never went to Tulsa University or anything. Just an easy screen name that is easy to remember for folks....and type. My pick for names was along the lines of tulsa, ohio, chicago...landmarks like that. Easy to remember and easy to type. tulsa

Yep...very much looking forward to this game as I know how big a rivalry it is. Not sure what to expect though. Next biggest rivalry game in college I have attended is Iowa-Iowa State. While big in its own right, i know it isnt near the level of the Red River Shootout. Both my parents were OU Grads, so I have always been an OU fan. Really hope they can give Texas a game, and the upset would be sweet! Weather looks great as the 10 day forecast has a high of 77 for next saturday.
