Say USC stays undefeated but has a couple of close calls against ND & UCLA. They just manage 2 stay undefeated & don't look real impressive @ times.Then Texas,Alabama & Vir.Tech also go undefeated & win their league championship game.All in CONVINCING fashion.

Play along 4 a minute.So you have VTech fresh off a easy victory over Fl.St. 2 win the ACC Then U have Texas running thru the Big 12 plus with it's early season victory on the road @ Ohio St. Definitely a quality road win as OhioSt. either wins the BIG 10 outright or ties 4 the league championship.Then the Crimson Tide go untouched thru the SEC with a solid victory in the championship game.

Who plays in the BCS Championship game & why ? Does the state of Alabama try to leave the Union again if Alabama doesn't make it after Auburn got left @ the alter last year.Oh yea,luv this guy . :dancefool

If USC goes undefeated they are in the Championship. Period. No brainer.

D2 is right about USC - they go undefeated they WILL play in the rose bowl and if Texass runs the table odds are so will they - mostly because Mack Brown will act like Dick Vermeil and cry so much about it

i hope Va Tech and Bama also go unbeaten and get left out so the BCS (once again - 1 too many letters in it) will get exposed for what it is and we can move 1 step closer to a true playoff system)

Just add 1 game, the week B4 the SUPER BOWL. Would settle 95% of issues.Keep bowl people happy,f**K up any "players will miss too much school theories",keep regular season important & most importantly get the 2 most deserving teams in BCS Championship Game.+ more $$$ 4 everybody.TV revenue generated by this 1 game would be ENORMOUS.
