I really like the value the Chi Sox represent. Yes Boston has the better bats but we all know one thing and one thing only counts in post-season baseball - PICTHING. The starting pitching between these two clubs cannot even be compared. The Red Sox starters are laughable (Arroyo, Clement). I will wait till Tuesday morning to let the East Coast bias raise the odds even more in my favor.

LA Angels +145

Same East Coast bias at play here with the overtaed NY Yankees. What is the average age of the Yankee starting rotation? Fifty. Vlad will tee off on these guys. Yanks limped into playoffs and will limp right out in no time.


Houston Astros -101
Same deal in this series as my lean is with the better starting pitching. Couple that with the Braves' history of choking and its Astros or no play here.


Padres/Cardinals

NO OPINION (what I do know is I wouldnt lay that lumber with Cards)


To summarize: Equal unit series wagers on Chicago and LA Angels for certain. Strong lean on Houston. PAss on St. Louis.

wrong team is favored in the CHI/RS series !!!! Will also wait a day , and pound the CWS to win the ALDS !!! Already got em to go all the way, so this is hopefully just gravy !!!

I think BOTH AL series' are 50/50 tossups...Angels have always played well vs NY, the Red Sox pitching is in such poor shape I see no way they can go all the way this time...that bullpen is on fumes!
