FINAL REG. SEASON STATS *** 173-142-4 +$4874.00 ***

2 WORLD SERIES FUTURE BETS:

CWS +799
ATLANTA +818

First off , let me say I feel THE WRONG TEAM IS FAVORED in this series !!! That's right, this coming from a guy who grew up 15 miles from Fenway and suffered thru '67,'75,'78,'86 and finally found redemption last year, I really think CHI is a team better suited for playoff baseball this year !!!!
Playoff baseball is not home runs and 10-6 wins, it's all about pitching and defense . Well, looking at the pitching match-ups, this is def a HUGE advantage for CHI !! Contreras possibly twice, w/ Garland, Buehrle, and Garcia in between , spells big trouble for BOS who counter with Clement, Arroyo, Wakefield and Wells (if he can find time to get out of that n/l game he's always in on POKERSTARS!!) BOS has nothing dependable after Timlin in the BP and Ozzie has Hermanson and a couple of good looking kids.

The big knock on CHI is they don't score enough runs, but they CAN manufacture runs , and w/ Konerko in that lineup they can play long ball too.
I just feel that the WS have better pitching all the way around and can score enough to win under a manager who has some balls , and can manage a staff well ..................

my pick ...............CWS +135 (OLY)

A Chicago lament = CHOKE

I'm no expert like you, but in similar fashion grew up maybe 15 miles from old Comiskey Park in Chicagoland. I must say this:

Post-season and Chicago are words that simply don't belong in the same sentence. Regardless of the talent, and regular season records, the White Sox may choke - hard. They have no experience. Boston has plenty.

The White Sox bullpen is suspect. Boston bats don't quit. I think the Red Sox, with their experience, will find ways to win in the mid-late innings. Good starters may get the White Sox through 6, but playoff baseball games really start in the 7th inning. Even though the White Sox won a bunch of 1 run games earlier this year, hanging on and delivering under playoff pressure is a whole different animal. Way different. Chicago is not familiar with real pressure. Look at how they gagged on a 15 game lead!

If Boston takes the 1st game, I think it's over. Chicago is definitely prone to imploding. I see long, disappointed faces in the Chicago dugout. They don't have the chemistry of a winner, and they don't believe in themselves. Again, that's why they choked in August & September, almost blowing the whole thing.

The White Sox played over their heads through July, with good starters, and a closer who kept them in the 1-run games. They're not the same team now. They're not a team of playoff destiny. No way.

I will put big money on Boston, especially if they win the 1st game. After that, it's na-na-na-na, hey-hey-hey, good-by to the White Sox! I can hear the disappointed fans booing them off the field already.

Hey - we're talking about Chicago here. They blame fans for losses when people catch foul balls hit into the stands! Everyone is just waiting for them to choke.

I think you lose both....

Love the ASTROS here.....

The lefty Pettite will shut down the Braves...and then comes Clemens and Oswalt vs SOSA

Bottom line Astros in 4....

Redsoxes has too much O for the CHISOXES

red sox in 3 i think. I was hoping Yankees would play the Whte Sox, but it didnt happen. But white sox dont have any chance against any team in the AL. Every team would sweep them

....by no means an expert, just felt that from a purely technical and matchup perspective the WS were the play at an inflated price. As far as pressure baseball is concerned , I would think that the run CLEVE. took at them gave them a taste of that .............all that being said , today I'm gonna go w/ these ........

RED SOX even..........................100/100
ATLANTA -111.........................111/100
NYY +107................................100/107

WS up 2-0!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,will BOS win a game ??? I had hoped this would have been a better series , but BOS looks like they will be hard pressed to win one, let alone 3 straight ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,s'ok tho, they get a pass after what they did last year as far as i'm concerned ...........like one ANTI PUBLIC play today

I dont quite think that Bos is gonna be able to win 3 straight this year. However I definitely think that the next two games are gonna go Bos way. They still have a remnant of that never die spirit. I dont think it can carry them to the next round, but I feel like they will make the series exciting.
