I bet 99% Horses, so need help from the sports guys here.

I learned from a psychic recently that the probable World Series winner is the NY Yankees, most likely 5th or 6th game.

What would be the best way to make money on this info?

Thanks.

Bet on every team other than the Yankees. Make sure you shop for the best odds.

My psychic only does NHL and NBA - where did you find one who does MLB?

Sell everyting you own, take out as much loan money as you can, find the shop with the best odds on the Yanks to win the WS and plunk it down. If the Yanks are ever in an elimination game for them, maybe sell some of your wife's jewelry or whatever to squeeze out some extra ching.

This is like throwing fresh meat in the cage. God forbid I ever slip up and one of the Rx'ers has to take me behind the woodshed.

fathead,

I know exactly what to do with that information.

:digit:
Here is the thing, in order to make the correct wagers for maximum profit, you will need to open an account at a very obscure sportsbook that caters only to the big boys.

They charge $50,000 just to open an account there.
I already have an account, so I can already save you $50k. (you're welcome)

It will take about $100k to make all the wagers necessary to win $1 million.

If you want we can go 50/50 on this.

Don't send me $50k, send me $25k plus your information and I will make the necessary wagers and send you the winnings. (your share is 1/2 million)

You gotta keep this quiet, because if the book finds out I am using your cash for part of the bet they will close my account.

So be cool buddy.

Well, I was thinking more about betting one unit for a little extra money in October. What am I looking for exactly? I was thinking about maybe some sort of prop or futures bet on the outcome of the 2005 World's Series, but I don't even know how to begin with this. I am a horse bettor only.

I was looking around earlier. At Olympic, they currently have the Yankees at +385 to win the World Series as a Futures Bet. I think this means 3.85 times my bet as a payoff. Is this good or could I do better?

go back to your psychic and find out which games they will win and then just go all in on everyone of them!! That's 11 straight winners!!!:drink:

I wish. Unfortunately I just have the final outcome. Of course that means Division win and Pennant win also. Okay, I will just look around at futures bets at various reputable places and see what I can find. Seems to be the easiest approach. At almost 4 to 1 appears to be worth one unit risk.

I looked around at the good shops (CRIS, Pinnacle, etc) and Olympic had the best prices. I decided to go with one unit Yankees to win AL Pennant, one unit Yankees to win World Series, that way if the first bet wins, I will be assured a profit for the two bets placed. If both bets cash, even better.

I have betting horses heavily for years, but these are my first Sports wagers. Beginner's Luck is a real thing, so don't miss out on the Beginner's Luck gravy train!

For some reason May and October tend to be good months for me in the horses (Triple Crown - Breeder's Cup bring out the good horses maybe), so expecting a great October. Good luck to all.

Next time you go in a dark room with a lady.

and ask her to tell your future and make sure when you give her the Hundred bucks she tells you that you will get you a blow job. Then you know for sure you got good info.:monsters- I think I would pay a tout before a psychic.

This person has had some nice calls in the past.

Of course the one I bet on is the one that loses. I thought I would at least make it to the ALCS.

Just goes to show that the future is not etched in stone. Just a view of probable outcomes. Anything can happen.

Good luck to all.
